Basic search functionality
This is what you need to know in order to start searching for video and image files. The search bar area of the BearFlix interface contains the basic tools necessary to perform a search. There is a text field for entering search terms, a menu for specifying the kind of file you're looking for, the 'Search' button that activates the search, an 'Advanced' button for fine-tuning your searches, and some options for how the Search View is laid out. A more detailed description of each of these tools follows:

Find: This is the place to begin the searching process. Simply type in one or more keywords or phrases, each word being separated by a space. You can type in as many words as you want.
Find right click options: Right-clicking inside the 'Find:' field will bring up a menu of more options. At
this time they are not functional, but are included here for completeness. These
options are as follows:
- Undo: Use this option to reverse the last action you performed in the 'Find:' field. This works only with the Cut and Delete actions.
- Cut: Use this option to take all or part of a selected search term out of the 'Find:' field.
- Copy: Use this option to copy all or part of a selected search term onto the Windows clipboard.
- Paste: Use this option to add text from the Windows clipboard into the 'Find:' field.
- Delete: Use this option to delete all or part of a selected search term out of the
'Find:' field.
- Select All: Use this option to take all or part of a selected search term out of the 'Find:'
field.
Type: this is the place to define what file types you would like to search for. The default setting searches for all supported file types and should be used most of the time. The options for file types are:
- Everything: Search for all supported file types (videos and images).
- Movies/Video: Search only for video files such as mpeg, asf, mov and more.
- Images: Search only for image files such as jpeg, png and more.
