Toolbar: This toolbar contains two features that help you organize your Library folders, and view information about them. The following section will describe in more detail exactly what you can do with the Folders toolbar.
Toolbar library menu options: This handy drop-down menu allows you to customize the Folders View by adding more columns of information. The options in the menu are Size Columns to Fit, Folder, Files, and Size. Each one is described below.
- Size columns to fit: Turned on by default. You can uncheck it to disable the function.
- Folder: This option is visible by default, and cannot be hidden by unchecking the
option. This is what keeps your folders visible so you can work with them.
- Files: Hidden by default. Choosing this option adds a column that displays the number
of files that are in each folder.
- Size: Hidden by default. Choosing this option adds a column that displays the size of a folder, which is the total combined size of all the files in it. For example, if a folder contained three files, each one 3.2MB in size, then the Size column would show a size of 6.8MB.
Toolbar Folders Button: By default only the folders you chose to share during setup are displayed. You
can add more by clicking the Folders button found on the Folders View Toolbar. It will open a folder list (see screenshot below) with easy-to-follow instructions for choosing which folders you want to make accessible for the public.
If you want to completely remove a folder from the Library, you can do that from here also. Note that this is different from unsharing a folder, where the folder remains in the Library but not shared. Unchecking a folder in this folder list will completely remove the folder from the Library (Don't worry, it will not delete the folder from your hard drive).

Warning: Be careful to not share your entire hard drive! You must click the plus sign next to the drive letter, which will open up to more folders from which you can choose to share only what you want the public to have access to.
Columns: By default only the Folder column is visible. More columns of information can be
added by right-clicking on the column header.
- Folder column: This option is visible by default, and cannot be hidden by unchecking the
option. This is what keeps your folders visible so you can work with them.
- Files clumn: Hidden by default. Choosing this option adds a column that displays the number
of files that are in each folder.
- Size column: Hidden by default. Choosing this option adds a column that displays the size of
a folder, which is the total combined size of all the files in it. For example,
if a folder contained three files, each one 3.2MB in size, then the Size column
would show a size of 6.8MB.
Columns right click options: By right-clicking on the column header, you will be able to choose from the
following options for adding more columns to the Folders View. You can also
click on the library menu for a drop-down menu of these same options:
- Size columns to fit: Turned on by default. You can uncheck it to disable the function.
- Folder: This option is visible by default, and cannot be hidden by unchecking the
option. This is what keeps your folders visible so you can work with them.
- Files: Hidden by default. Choosing this option adds a column that displays the number
of files that are in each folder.
- Size: Hidden by default. Choosing this option adds a column that displays the size of
a folder, which is the total combined size of all the files in it. For example,
if a folder contained three files, each one 3.2MB in size, then the Size column
would show a size of 6.8MB.
Folders: If you have a lot of sub-folders, once you've clicked one, you can quickly move
from one to another using the arrow keys on your keyboard. If the folder tree gets too long or too wide, you can resize the frame it's in.
Bring your mouse pointer over to the right-hand side of the Folder view pane,
and hover it over the frame until it becomes a double arrow. You can then drag
the frame to the right, expanding the space for the folder tree.

My folders: This contains all the folders, sub-folders and their files that are currently
part of your Library setup. This includes files and folders that were shared but are now unshared, and have not been moved or deleted from your Library.
To view the files in this folder
- Click once on it. They will appear in the file viewer to the right, in alphabetical order.
- I see a plus sign next to this folder. What is it for? Click once on it to show any sub-folders and the files they contain. Alternatively, you can double-click the folder itself to achieve the same result.
These sub-folders are the actual categorized folders that you created on your hard drive at a previous time, containing only the files that you put into them.
Shared Files: This folder contains all the files you are actively sharing; that is, files that
are currently available to the public. These files are listed with no
distinction of which folders or sub-folders they are in.
Unshared Files: This folder contains any files you have unshared; usually these are files that you were previously sharing but stopped sharing for one reason or another. These files are listed with no distinction of which folders or sub-folders they are in.
By Extension: This folder (with sub-folders) allows you to view different file types
exclusively. Each sub-folder contains every shared file of a specific type. For
instance, if you have 20 files with the .doc extension, and 5 files with the .au
extension, all the .doc's will be in a seperate folder from the .au's. Likewise
with all other file types (.txt, .mp3, .pdf, .wmp, etc.) will be in their own
sub-folders.
