 To begin, double-click the Norton Personal Firewall icon in the system tray, found in the right-hand corner of your Windows taskbar.
Alternately, you can right-click the taskbar icon, and choose Norton Personal Firewall from the menu.
 Double-click on Personal Firewall
 Click Programs tab
 Click the Add button
 In the Windows program selection dialog, navigate to your BearFlix folder, and double-click BearFlix.exe
 Make sure the Permit option is chosen in the drop-down menu, then click OK.
 You should now see BearFlix in the list
of allowed programs.
To finish, click OK, then click the  close button in the upper right-hand corner of the Norton dialog.
Test your settings
In BearFlix, go to the Hosts view, right-click on the screen, and choose Redetect Firewall Status from the menu that appears.
- If you do not see the Hosts view, make it visible by going to View > Enable Views, and click Hosts in the list.
Give BearFlix a minute or so to check, then look at the 4th LED (on the right). If it is green, then you are good to go. If it is yellow, you are still firewalled. Double-check your settings and try again.
