Automatic Configuration
When you run BearFlix for the first time with Kerio Personal Firewall on your computer, you will be prompted with several (up to four) popup alerts.
Put a check in the box where it says Create a rule for this communication and don't ask me again.
Click the Permit button for each alert.
Manual Configuration
Double-click the Kerio Personal Firewall icon in the system tray, found in the right-hand corner of your Windows taskbar
Select the Network Security page as shown below.
Double-click on BearFlix.
Change each of the four selection boxes to Permit.
Uncheck Show alert to user.
Kerio will now allow BearFlix full incoming and outgoing activity.
Test your settings
In BearFlix, go to the Hosts view, right-click on the screen, and choose Redetect Firewall Status from the menu that appears.
- If you do not see the Hosts view, make it visible by going to View > Enable Views, and click Hosts in the list.
Give BearFlix a minute or so to check, then look at the 4th LED (on the right). If it is green, then you are good to go. If it is yellow, you are still firewalled. Double-check your settings and try again.
