Q: How do I delete files? A: You can remove files from within your file explorer where you have your BearFlix downloaded files stored(On your keyboard, press the Windows key, hold it in, then press the 'e' key). Do you get an error when trying to remove the files? If so, what is the error? If it tells you that the file is currently in use it is most likely a video file which is still being 'held onto' by the program you use to play video files. You will want to clear out the memory on that specific program in order to release the file. If instead you are getting an error which states that it can't read from the disk, the file has already been deleted and windows is still catching up (this generally occurs when you have deleted a large amount of files or a large single file). Press the F5 key in order to refresh and make certain that the files are gone. If the files still show up with the error that it can't read from the disk, please perform a scandisk, then defrag your system -- this is a windows error.

Also ensure BearFlix is not uploading the file to someone, if the file is large then BearFlix may currently be hashing it (the third light will flash yellow) in which case allow BearFlix to finish before trying again.Another possibility when using Windows XP is the folder window is attempting to create a preview. Close the window and then reopen the folder, select the file and wait for a couple of minutes before pressing the Delete button.

Q: The file turns Red in the "Library" A: If after you remove files, you see red files in BearFlix, please do the following: Go to "Setup" --> "Sharing" and press "rescan" on each directory in your list.Your files should then properly show up in your "Files" list.
