Q: Why does BearFlix look so similiar to BearShare? A: BearFlix was created by the creators of BearShare. We have decided to keep the familiar and friendly look and feel of BearShare while working on the software engine to optimize if for video downloading and sharing.
Q: Can BearFlix run side by side with BearShare on the same computer? A: BearFlix and BearShare can run on the same computer side by side. There is no conflict between the two programs. If you change BearFlix installer defaults make sure that: 1) you install BearFlix in a different folder than BearShare. 2) you setup the downloads temporary folder to a different one than BearShare's. You will encounter problems if you install BearShare and BearFlix on the same folder. If installed on different folders both programs would run side by side smoothly.

Q: I can search for videos and images on BearShare why would I use BearFlix? A: While BearShare does support searching and downloading of video files BearFlix just does it better. BearFlix is optimized for video and image downloading and sharing and thus should be used by users that are interested in such files.
Q: I already purchased BearShare Pro do I need to pay again for BearFlix Pro? A: No. As an appreciation to our dedicated Pro users we have decided to provide BearFlix Pro for free to current BearShare Pro users. If you already purchased BearShare Pro simple download the Pro version of BearFlix and use the same BearShare
Q: Who is the creator of BearFlix? A: Musiclab, LLC is the owner and creator of both BearFlix and BearShare.
